Every once in a while an affirmation comes our way. I have observed that many of the artists I admire view their own work with a very critical eye. This attitude is necessary to continue to grow. Sometimes however it is really nice to just rest in the idea that you are growing as an artist. When my work was included in Southwest Art, November 2007 I was very encouraged.
