My Personal Reflection – Driven by an unsettling realization I wanted to do more than paint pretty pictures, I felt compelled to reflect. Reflection is very personal and highly individual. There are no formulas. For me the result has been a great adventure and a great privilege which has led to a series of paintings of the Tarahumara Indians of the Sierra Madre. Windows to the Divine is an unique art show that honors the special calling of artists in our world and encourages dialogue between people of different faiths about art and spirituality. The mission of the exhibition is to create opportunities for people of diverse traditions to understand better the sacred nature of all creation. The exhibition is an expression of all spiritual paths, including artists from the Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, and Islamic traditions. The show appeals to a broad audience because the content of the works is not confined to explicitly religious or sacred subjects, but also includes diverse styles ranging from representational to realistic to contemporary and traditional ethnography.
